Grace

Saturday morning Jonathan chose to read the story of Adam & Eve from "The Jesus Storybook Bible" to Elizabeth and McKinney.   He read this somber account of sin entering the world but the story didn't end at this point...it continued and pointed to God's great rescue plan.  Jonathan read these words:

"You see, no matter what, in spite of everything, God would love His children - with a Never Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love."

Grace!  May this grace be ever present in the hearts of these little ones.

The Blob

Jonathan chose lemon-lime flavor for his Kool-Aid playdough that we made earlier this week.  We were hoping for more lemon-lime scent in the dough but at least it gave it this wonderful green color!  Today Jonathan created what he called, "Blob" which is pictured above.

An afternoon at the Nymans

We all love visiting the Nymans!  Jonathan thinks their backyard is even better than a camping trip!   Thursday was an amazing fall day and we spent some time outside in the backyard playing on the swing.

Apple Ridge Orchard

Perfect weather, crisp apples off the trees, corn mazes, wagon rides, and apple butter on Jon's homemade biscuits.
 Autumn has arrived!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with our dear friends, Patrick and Amy O'Mara!
